From 21st to 29th of January 2012 the world`s biggest watersports show “Boot“ took place in Düsseldorf Germany. More than 1600 exhibitors from over 50 countries showed their products during the show.
AUP celebrated its 40th anniversary by having the largest booth ever at that show. The European Oceanic Staff showed the latest products of Oceanic, Hollis, Aeris and Lavacore to the public, dealers and distributors.
The boat show was a huge success for AUP. We were able to welcome a very large number of consumers, dealers and distributors on our stand. With our large number of staff and multiple languages we were able to create a friendly and informative visit for all.
Of special interest was the extended line of Oceanic computers as well as the travel BCD Biolite. Hollis presented two rebreathers; the Explorer Sport/recreational and the Prism 2 technical rebreather. Hollis also presented the SMS 50 sidemount jacket prototype. These were real crowd pleasers. The AERIS line showed the new ATMOS jacket and the new LED lights. The fourth brand Lavacore was undoubtedly one of the absolute highlights at the exhibition. The demand for Lavacore products was simply overwhelming.
American Underwater Products—AUP, made its debut appearance as the home of all four brands worldwide. The logo was proudly displayed above our stand along with the 40th Anniversary banners celebrating Oceanic with its 40th year in business in 2012.
