AUP attended Mexico’s largest dive show – and introduced a new, dedicated distributor, Ocemex. Ocemex will have a warehouse location, sales representation throughout the country, service, etc.
The Expo Buceo organizer wanted to extend his gratitude to AUP for the participation and support of the show – the attendance was a lot better than in previous years.
Dealers and consumers are very pleased to know that AUP will be represented again in Mexico. Ocemex will not sell the AUP products directly to consumers or instructors, ONLY to Dive shops. Online sales will be limited to those with Brick and mortar locations. Ocemex signed up 18 dealers at the show, some current AUP and some new ones.
Service seminars are now being planned for all of the Ocemex affiliated dealers to update everybody on all service procedures for our products
AUP also spoke to the largest scuba magazine in Mexico about opportunities and prices for publishing.
Overall the trip was a success and AUP will be well represented in the Mexican market.
