Oceanic Dealer Seminar Held in California

On June 17 & 18, 2011 Oceanic hosted a Dealer Seminar at American Underwater Products Headquarters in San Leandro.  20 Dealers from 12 Dealerships came to see the plant, meet the people and learn all about our history, products and programs.  A detailed seminar schedule listed below shows you the extent of the topics that were presented and discussed.  And most importantly, the relationships we created during those two days is what sets American Underwater Products apart from other companies.

The video below features Allen Aboujeib of Blue Water Divers in Oklahoma City where he talks about the seminar and his thoughts on working with American Underwater Products.

Oceanic would like to thank the following Dealers for visiting us at Headquarters and making the effort to learn more about our family of companies:  Jeffrey Petrella & Alyssa Wilson, Uncle Joe’s Scuba; Kim Shelley Hurley & Dave Scantlin, Magic Valley Scuba; Teresa & Freddie, Aloha Scuba;Dave Bakker & Carolyn Bakker & Ruetta Miller & Randy Miller, Adventure Scuba; John Richardson, Tropical Adventures; Hosam Elshenawi, Beach Cities; Emmett Yancey, Aqua Adventure – GA; Joseph & James Murray, Coral Edge Adventures; Wesley Chappell, Reef Scuba; Rob & Robin Kohl, Seal Sports; Allen Aboujeib, Blue Water Divers; Jimi Mayes, Divers Supply.

The feedback we received from our survey returns showed that the attendees really enjoyed the tour.  By far, the overall experience was very positive.

Surveying our Dealers after the tour is very helpful in determining our course of action in regards to future products, programs and pricing.  If you have attended one of our seminars this year and have not returned your survey, please contact David Burroughs at dburroughs@oceanicusa.com for another copy.

  1. I hope Oceanic/AUP could also provide a full package seminar for overseas dealers. Suggest during DEMA 2011. So not only Oceanic could grow good in USA, but also in the rest of the world. Agung D. Rachwan, from Indonesia.
